Teaching is a profession where a personal commitment to contribute to our communities and society at large is a life choice.   It is an extraordinary responsibility to have young minds and hearts in your hands.  Fortunately, the vast majority of educators take these responsibilities very seriously.  It is not surprising many such professionals provide classroom supplies at their own expense and devote personal time developing their own curricula, rubrics, examinations, and instructional materials for their classes.  It is their nature.  These materials may not be considered worthwhile by scholastic publishers, but to other teachers they can be invaluable.

SavoirSoft provides educators with opportunities to connect and network with those in their profession; including students, publishers, and other academics in ways not possible without SavoirSoft.  Contributing to SavoirSoft's educator communities enables you to:

• Expand your reach to establish relationships and loyalties with, and derive revenues from, others who want access to the experience, talent, and expertise you offer;
• License your materials to other educators and institutions using methods and in formats that traditional publishers cannot provide while protecting your intellectual property, and;
• Collaborate with other SavoirSoft members to develop new materials for your classroom.
